This photo I found while digging through some of our trips my wife and I have taken. I forgot that I took this one, but I think it fits pretty well with this week’s photo challenge. This rock, which is part of the Monument Rocks near Oakley, Kansas, seems to be trying to escape from the overall formation. I can only assume that it used to be attached at one point, but is now on its own. Moving just as fast as it can, trying to get out of there. But truly, I think it’s just a Rock in a Hard Place.
