The saying goes “You can’t judge a tiger by his stripes”. However, I can judge a tiger by his teeth. And they tell me to not get too close. This week’s photo challenge is From Lines to Patterns. Tigers fit into both categories, with their lines making up their patterns, which allow them to effectively hunt and survive. This one really struck me, I hope you enjoy it too!

As many of you know, I really love reflections. They are just another way to see the same thing, but from a different angle. This Water Lily was interesting in that it was there, floating amongst all the green leaves and lily pads, just soaking up the sun. The whiteness of the flower really struck me, along with the reflection of it in the water. I hope you all enjoy!

P.S. I started a Facebook page for my photography, so feel free to swing by and LIKE it on Facebook. My posts will update to that page as well.
My wife might never truly know, because you won’t find her awake that early (unless she is forced, and even then she might be dozing). I had the fortunate opportunity to travel to Western Kansas last week, and took this photo of the fiery sunrise on the morning of September 11, 2013. What a way to show how each day is new, even a day with as horrific events as happened on 9/11. This photo made me stop and think about how truly beautiful our World is, and that we should enjoy every minute of each day that we have. Enjoy the beauty around us. Hope you all enjoy this photo!
This picture always stood out in my mind, reminding me of the awesome power the ocean has, and how it can change the land. I took this photo on the North Shore of Aruba. I hope you all enjoy!
