Yellowstone National Park is full of Contrasts. Everything from Blues to greens, Yellows to Whites, Reds to Oranges. Color and contrast is everywhere. Some of the contrast isn’t even in the colors, nor in the people who visit there. When looking at different pools, you will see the contrast between life and death. Grass grows tall and strong, yet a mere few inches from boiling hot water, full of organisms that thrive, turning water into acidic fluids that slowly erode the stone beneath the surface.
While this pool may appear inviting, it is so near to the boiling point that it is dangerous beyond belief. Even so, the grass thrives not far from its banks, giving a whole different level of contrast; and respect.
I hope you enjoy!
