This week’s Photo Challenge is “Perspective”. I thought this photo was a good representation, not just because of the lines and depth of field, but also because I had to completely change my perspective to take the picture. For those of you who don’t actually know me, I’m 6 feet 4 inches tall, so I see things quite differently than most people. For this photo, I had to get down on the ground, as this tree was fallen beside the path. I took this photo last fall, and this was about the only thing in the area that was actually still green. I really liked the contrast with this, along with the lines and the textures. Hope you all enjoy!
As many of you know, I really love reflections. They are just another way to see the same thing, but from a different angle. This Water Lily was interesting in that it was there, floating amongst all the green leaves and lily pads, just soaking up the sun. The whiteness of the flower really struck me, along with the reflection of it in the water. I hope you all enjoy!
Water Lily Reflection
P.S. I started a Facebook page for my photography, so feel free to swing by and LIKE it on Facebook. My posts will update to that page as well.
I love the cold and the snow. But now that we’ve had a couple of big snows and the weather man is predicting weather in the 60s by the end of the week, my thoughts have turned towards outdoor activities, namely golf. I am ready for some shorts and short-sleeved-shirt weather, along with hitting the links with my friends. Hope you enjoy the photo for today!
Down the Fairway
So my wife and I were walking around a garden area, and saw this little guy just camping out on his pad. Hope you all enjoy it!
