I got a new job. I started this past Monday, which has added to my lack of posting. But I think I might just be able to get back into the swing of things. At least for a while. So for my new job, I went to Mequon, WI for training. That area is beautiful, especially if you can take some time to run out to Port Washington, WI. It’s a smaller town, but right on the shore of Lake Michigan. There are many overlooks, and the town is very quaint, and very inviting to visitors. I went up there on the morning of January 15, and captured the sunrise. This is one of the almost 60 photos I took that morning, but I loved the red sky, the darker clouds, and the beam of light, reaching across the lake as though to begin waking up the sleepy little town. The morning was quite cold, but viewing the sky ablaze with the rising sun was warming to the soul. What a great start to the day! Hope you all enjoy!
